It has been forever since I posted! Time just flies these days I tell ya!

So what is new in the Thovson household? Well, Gabrielle is now done (forever, tear) with Preschool. She will be attending Kindergarten next year with her friends and some new ones! She is very excited. She loved going to Trinity Preschool with Mrs. Harms and Miss.Amanda (and even some days Miss Danelle, when i would fill in) as her teachers! We feel SO Lucky to have had Mrs. Harms before she retired after 27 or so years of teaching (WOW). She is a great lady and she did an amazing job teaching all the kids the greatness of knowing the Lord and also the greatness of her teaching in general! I feel blessed to have had her for 2 years with Gabrielle! Now she is ready for Kindergarten! This summer she will be doing T ball (in a couple weeks is starts I believe) and swimming lessons in July. And maybe some other activities in there too! She is a great little girl and loved so much by us! Side note- Gabrielle learned how to ride her bike with no training wheels a few weeks ago too! That was a project for this summer and it was accomplished in 1-2 hours of teaching:)

Avery is Avery! She has some spit fire in her, from the Thovson/Hanson sides I AM SURE!!! She is a very active and loving little girl! She is such a great addition to our little family! She LOVES her "sissy" that is for sure! We will be starting to potty train her and transition her to a "big girl bed" soon! She is a talker! A singer and a dancer! She loves Elmo, Dora, and Sponge bob (the most). She thinks Spongbob and Patrick are the funnest! Their are parents who do not believe in that show, but come on lets be honest there is 100 times worse things then that out in this world! She loves and I mean LOVES being outside!

Jake is the working man in the house still! We are blessed to have him in our lives! I love him and he is an amazing Dad and Husband! June 11th will be our 7 year wedding anniversary and 12 years together! So awesome to have such a good friend for that long and his amazing families who love me like their own! His hours were getting PRETTY long there for a while (very hard on his pregnant wife and girls who are SO used to seeing him more!) But now it is a little more "normal" and we get to see him more and actually have some family time together! We missed that a lot! He is getting excited to hopefully ride his motorcycle more and soon. Back and forth to work is about all he gets!

And me, I am still doing EMT classes Tuesdays and Thursdays! We will be done in the end of June (hopefully before I go into labor :) It has been fun and also very stressful at the same time. Cramming for tests while managing the kids and my tired pregnant body! But we will get it done! I have enjoyed going out on some calls and have the pager on most of the time to see what is going on! Baby Prince Thovson is growing right on schedule and doing amazing! We had our 3rd ultrasound yesterday to see if he was head down now, AND HE IS!!!!!!!! ( 1st one was at 20 weeks when we found out the sex and they do their measuring and such of him, then I had one around 32 weeks when I was not feeling him love too much and found out he was still side ways with his legs into the inside of me so when he kicked i really could not feel it, then yesterdays to see if he was head down yet!) And the tech says he has TONS of hair (just like his sisters!). I can not wait to see what he looks like! Curly hair like the girls? We are trying to decide on a name since it is less then 1 month away from the due date! Think we figured one out, sorry secret though! I am dilated to a 1/2 cm! A ton I know! I have never dilated been going into labor so this is new! Probably means nothing but we shall see! He will come when he is ready and I am not worried. Jake is worried about the 1 hr and 15 min drive to Sioux Falls!

Busy Busy Busy....

It has been busy around the Thovson household the past few weeks.

A few weeks ago, I got to go to Fargo (with out the kids and husband) and stayed with my sister and mom in a hotel. We went out for supper, did some shopping, enjoyed staying up till 230am talking and sharing stories. What a true treat it was to be together with them! It does not happen nearly enough! (P.S. We need to do this at least once a year Mom and Kelly!) It was a icy drive past Watertown, but I made it!

The true reason I was going up north was to see my Grandma (mom's mom) because she was having a had time getting back to health after being in the hospital, a fall, chemo, and cancer. I needed to see her and spend time with her, and Lord let me tell you I AM SO GLAD I made that decision. God was truly pushing me into the right direction!! My mom and I only spent a couple hours with her (she was getting tired) at her house. It was so nice to see her and enjoy conversation. This is now treasured forever!

Then within the next week-2 weeks, she would end up entering the hospital again and would start to go downhill fast. Soon she was being moved from the hospital to her home and was taken care of her last few days by all 5 of her kids. I am sure Grandma thought that was so amazing to have all of her kids there with her taking care of her and sharing those last days with her by her side. On the 17th, her suffering was over and she is now celebrating with our Lord!

Love you Grandma and we now have another Angel to watch over us.

The girls are doing great. Gabrielle is in her last few months of preschool and next year off to Kindergarten! She loves school, her teachers and her friends. She continues to amaze me everyday, how much her is growing up. She is such a beautiful and smart little girl! Avery is always trying to keep up with her sister. She calls Gabrielle "sissy"! It is the cutest thing! She makes us laugh everyday with her personality. She is truly an amazing little girl too! Crazy at times! And "Jr" is still kicking me and showing me he is in charge! My next appt is Good Friday, I will be having the glucose testing and my RH shot! Ya me! Both him and I are on track and I am just enjoying him right now! (There is truly nothing like being pregnant and feeling your little one move! What a miracle.) Jake is working hard. Starting to get busy again with the Spring and super nice weather here! I am doing EMT classes every Tuesday and Thursday till the middle of June! I am so thrilled to finally be doing this, I have been interested as long as I can remember. (with us moving so much never had the chance to get it done! and now is the time) I am looking forward to the future and as most know I would like to go to school for nursing one fine day. I figure I am "young" still and have PLENTY of work days ahead of me. Right now focusing on the kids while I can!

St kitts 2012

I brought this Hottie home with me!

LAND.......

Back in MN,with beautiful snow/rain falling pretty much all day, kids home, husband back at work, and the house calling my name! The feeling of being home is always so great!

So from the sounds of my last post, I was going to find a ride back to Canby to get our girls. Well, I ended up going to St. Kitts and loving it (all of it but the flight!). 4 hour 45 min flight there and we landed in paradise! Wow, we have only been to Mexico, but this was something else I tell ya! Mountains (hills not sure), volcano's, beach, ocean=God's Work!

Jake went zip lining while we were there. He enjoyed that! I stayed at the resort and took a nap! He did some snorkeling too, I just took the pictures! We enjoyed relaxing on the beach, by the pool, eating, drinking smoothies, drinking a few drinks (not me of course), and just relaxing in the room and resort! It was a great time! But we are happy to be home!

Thanks for my mother in law and sister in laws for watching our girls! We appreciate it SO MUCH!

A trip to St. Kitts

2:34am Sunday- Today is the big day we fly out, and I am having tons of anxiety. I told Jake, who can I talk into coming and getting me from the cities!! That is how bad it is! I feel like backing out of a trip to St.Kitts. I obviously can not sleep, alarm will be going off at 4:30 am to get ready and off to the airport for a 7:30 flight. We facetimed (a live video chat) the girls last night and Avery cried seeing our faces....that was super hard for me. ( this is the first times we have been away in a long time and for longer then 2 days.) Avery is a mommy and daddy's girl, so is Gabrielle bu she handles being away a lot better. She understands mommy and daddy will be home and will get you some fun stuff, Avery on the other hand does not understand and that is what is hard. Praying everything goes fine for everyone involved, because this mommy has cried once, and we are still in the cites. From the sound of it this is a 6 1/2 hours flight to St. Kitts. Wow Lord help jake and I! And off I go to try to get some more sleep. Love you Gabrielle and Avery! Miss u tons.

Today was the BIG day! We found out we are having a.....BOY! The Thovson name will go on! (Guess that is a good time, Just kidding Thovson's!) Everything is on schedule for a due date of June 29th. He was so sick of pictures that at the end of the ultrasound he yawned! So cute! Those ultrsound never get old, seeing the baby up close is so great! So real! Enjoy the pictures!

Update- The 6th is our ultrasound. We are going to it as a family and Chrystelle might even join us too! I have been feeling her/him move now more and more! Can not wait for the BIG movements so the girls can feel that! Gabrielle remembers it with Avery, so she is excited!

And also getting ready for our vacation to St Kitts the 12-18 of Feb! Will be nice to get away, but we will miss the girls TONS! I plan on taking a lot of pictures while we are there! So stay tuned for that!
