Almost December Already!

So nothing to new around here is going on. We are ALL sick with colds. I hate when my kids are sick. The feeling of being so helpless, especially to Avery. Poor girl. Think she is getting over it though! Pretty Princess!

Gabrielle is still loving school. Making a lot of new friends and seems to talk a little to much about this boy, Hudson, in her class. WOW, it is already starting and she is 4! Mom and Dad are very interested in this little boy who has "caught" Gabrielle's eye. :) We did some school shopping for here yesterday in Sioux Falls. Found some great deals!

Avery is doing great---laughing, giggling, cooing, and rolling over. Avery thinks her Big Sister is the BEST!!! Avery no more then hears or sees her and she is just a moving and super excited!

I will be sharing more pictures next post. Believe it or not I have not taken any since the last post!

4 Months Old

So today was the BIG SHOT day again! Like the 2 month shots, not sure who cried more, Avery or Gabrielle. Gabrielle was full blown crying, holding her leg in pain, and holding onto me trying not to look at the shots!!! What a big sister, guess she loves her little sister and feels her pain.

Avery is 13 lbs 4oz ( 50 percetile), 24.5 inches long (60th percentile), and has a "big" head at 41.5 cm (73rd percetile). The docs say she is doing great and growing nice. We can start her on very little rice cereal now, but we shall see since we do not want her getting "backed up", which runs wild in the family!!! :) Yes TMI I know!

She is now rolling over from back to belly and belly to back! This only happens sometimes! We will walk into the room and there she will be rolled over, thinking a little help here please....someone.......anyone!!!!

We are so blessed to have such great girls and love them tons!

1st Day of Preschool

1st day of Preschool!

So today is a BIG day at our house! Gabrielle went to preschool for the first time today! This morning was a hard one for her, " Mom, I do not want to go to school, I do not want to go!" This was said over and over while crying this morning, while in the other room I have Avery crying to be fed and she is not liking the fact that Gabrielle is crying! (They get sad when the other is crying, makes for some interesting times at the Thovson household!!! But they both got over it, both ate breakfast, dad came home and had a "pep" talk with Gabrielle about going to school! Off we went to school. We (just like normal Danelle style) were the 1st ones at the church, followed by some kids and their dad shortly after! She had some classmates curious about her name and what she wore for Halloween. I stood around for a few minutes watching her interact with the kids. And by the time i left she was holding hands with another little girl! I left on such a good note!!! So happy for her and can not wait to hear about her day when I pick her up at 11:30!!!! I am going to get her something special so she can remember this day (thinking a jewelry box with the dancing princess into) and Dad, Avery and I taking her out for dinner! Have to make this a GREAT day for us all!!!!

I can not believe my 1st born is this old already! Man, do I love her to pieces!!! She is such a great kid! Love ya Gabrielle!

So she loved it and said she made so many friends! So happy for her! She goes again on Thursday so we shall see if that morning is better!!!!!

Well it has been awhile since I updated our blog. We have since moved to Slayton MN. Jake is working with his dad and I am staying home with the girls! ( and love it!) Jake is REALLY enjoying his job! We sold our house (close the 27th of this month) in Harrisburg and have a house in Slayton.

Gabrielle is enjoying being in dance here and trying to get to know some new friends in the area! She is doing a great job at being a BIG sister and is tons of help for me! She is always concerned about Avery when she cries.

Avery is 3 months and 1 week old! She is SUCH A GREAT baby! Sleeps great, eats great, really never cries, smiles, and giggles all the time! She goes for her 4 month appt on the 10th of Nov and we get to see how much she has grown since her 2 month appt!

I have been busy taking pictures every weekend. But I am done now till the end of Oct. Nice little break I guess!

September is here!

Where did the summer go? I am sure there are many of you thinking the same thing! Avery is going to be 2 months old this month. She has grown so much. We can not wait to see what she weighs now! She is smiling a lot and cooing! She is such a great baby STILL! We are so blessed with our 2 girls, they are both great! Gabrielle is still doing great being a big sister. Getting a lot more used to it these days! Getting the diapers and wipes for mom when I need help with that! She has been getting braver and going on the tube behind the boat when grandpa Thovson drives. She really enjoys it and it is hard getting her off most times! I even went on the tube, I have not been on a tube for YEARS! It was fun though!

This past weekend we had our first BIG venture out with Avery since being born. We went to Omaha. Stayed at a water resort there and went to the Zoo. Wow that zoo there is awesome. We did not get to see everything there (because it is so big) but got to see a lot! It was so much fun!

So our 1st born has turned the BIG 4. Wow, I can not believe it. Seems like just yesterday I was holding her in my arms. So AWESOME watching kids grow up everyday. Seeing all the changes! What a great life! I love my kids and my family! And God is blessing us everyday!

1 Month Old

Our little girl is 1 month old (yesterday)! Wow, where has the time gone. Before I know it she will be 1 year old! She is doing great. Sleeping like a champ at night, getting better with the naps during the day, and just a great baby all together! So very blessed to have her in our lives! Her next doctor appt is not until she is 2 months old. Then we get to see how much she has grown and the thing i hate.....the shots!

Gabrielle had a great birthday party this past Sunday! She will be 4 this Sunday the 15th! WOW!! My "little girl" is growing up so FAST! She is something great! A big helper and such a great girl! She enjoys playing with the neighbor hood kids EVERYDAY! She likes to ride her NEW birthday bike she got from Jake and I. Her other bike was a 12 inch one (this one is 16 inches) and had a wobbly tire (since someone ran it over....we will not mention names!)

Jake and I are doing great! Jake is still working at the same place but doing a different job for the time being to help out! I am still VERY BLESSED and staying home with the girls and doing photography on the side. Loving both of my "jobs"! Staying very busy with photography, which is great because I love it so much!
